|Subject: Ski season approaches|
Well, fellow Ziner skiers (that means you Tom), winter approaches with many mountains (at least out here in the Western U.S.) already open with record early snowfall. So, I'm sending out a query as to where the few winter enthusiasts amongst the group will be headed.
Sara and I will be skiing the slopes of our annual favorites, i.e. Salt Lake City (hope to try Snow Basin this season), Lake Tahoe (Squaw Valley, of course), and I'll head up to snowcat ski in the San Juan's of SW Colorado later in the season. Our new destination for this year is Chamonix. We'll be skiing there a couple of days in mid-January a week after the World Cup passes through. We hope to do the Vallée Blanche.
How about it? Where will your skis be turning this season?
Happy schussing, John in San Diego
