|Subject: Christmas gifts for the traveller|
While my ideal Christmas gift might be a First class ticket to a location of my choice, a trans-atlantic cruise, or a two-week ski trip to the best snow in the world, the Toronto Globe and Mail recently ran an article about more mundane gifts to buy for the traveller on your Christmas list. One of the suggestions is a silk scarf that is designed with maps on it. Apparently these were issued to pilots during WWII. The selection includes major world cities. I think it's a great idea. Lost? Whip out the scarf and find your way. Classy and useful. A truly portable (and wearable) map.
Now, what's the best possible travel-related gift you could receive (any time of the year)?
