VIP coupons have slight edge over milage upgrades with a bit more inventory and are given to platinum flyers. These are fully transferable and can be given as gifts or used on your behalf by owners. So if you have that uncle or brother in law or sister, etc that flys for biz and has a zillion miles ask them if they have any VIP's. I get mine from family or friends and sometimes have even traded for some.
