Hi Janet!

Sandy's tip for the Boutique Maile is a good one, and if your friends and relatives like food gifts, also on the Place Madeleine is Fauchon, where there little jars of fleur de sel are very pretty and inexpenive.

An even cheaper way to give a nice gift of fleur de sel is to go to the Bon Marche food store, where they have the cutest little round cardboard "jars" if it, with cork tops. I have given these for gifts and they are popular.

If not food, then I say soap. There is a flowery brand in pretty wrappers that most pharmacies sell, that is inexpensive and makes a good gift. Wish I could remember the name. But who wouldn't like a bar of French milled soap, straight from France?

Hope you are well, Debbie in Pittsburgh
