|Subject: Re: Indian Ocean disaster / Risk consideration|
Suppose you were over 70 years old and scheduled to depart on a trip to Asia, including Bangkok, in less than two weeks. (Bangkok is the only city on the itinerary close to the affected area.) Would you modify your itinerary, cancel your trip or go as planned? I am concerned about my friend's determination to go as planned. I'm worried that if she or her traveling companion, a woman the same age, requires medical attention for any reason, the health facilities in Bangkok might be overburdened from the tsunami disaster . Should I be stressing about this? Thanks for sharing your opinions.
