Hello another Sue and fellow Ziners,
My children get very annoyed when I mention 'humping' my bags around the shops when in public. See even after all these years I don't feel comfortable saying stores! On her first day in her new high school at the age of 15 a newly arrived Samantha leaned over and asked the boy next to her if she could borrow his rubber. She was also wearing a beret and calling the teacher sir so it was not a very auspicious start for her.
Asking some one to 'knock you up in the morning' is a guaranteed conversation stopper in Canada.
Regards, Sue in Waterloo Canada
