We are interested in renting a holiday cottage or flat in a couple of places in the UK for about a week each. There seem to be a lot of choices from a company called Cottages4you. Has anyone used them for rentals? A search did not turn up anything particularly useful in the way of a review or critique of the company, so we would appreciate hearing of any personal experiences readers might have had.

Also, we are really interested in such accommodations in Rochester, Kent, but almost nothing appropriate seems to be listed on any of the sites we have tried. Does anyone know of an in-city flat or house available for short-term rentals? We are not sure yet just what time of year we might go.
