Subject: Re: Good Deeds
Greetings Ziners,

We, (myself, my wife and our two children) were in Germany in a small town. It was Sunday and late in the evening and we need a place to stay for the night.

We found a Gasthaus but it appeared to be closed. The proprietors saw us peeking in the windows and opened the door for us. It was a small town....they did not speak any English and all that I could ask for in German was "Do you have a room". The elderly couple called their Granddaughter who spoke some English who came down.

We ended up with a bite to eat, a room for the four of us for the night and some wonderful attempts at communication!!

Keep an open mind and hope for the best and things just seem to work out!
