|Subject: Mexico Advice from Ziners..|
Greetings Fellow Travelers,
We returned in November from a 12 day cruise to Mexico. We have a couple of weeks off in early April, and were planning on going to Spain. With the exchange rate not in our favor in Spain right now, and Mexico being fresh in our mind, we are thinking of going to Mexico instead.
On the cruise, we went to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Ixtapa and Manzanillo. Acapulco and the Ixtapa area really made a hit with us. We are planning on flying into Mexico City, staying a few days to see the ruins and the city and heading for the Pacific Coast. This is where we need the advice....would it be better to take a train/bus to Acapulco and then rent a car to tour the coast or rent a car in Mexico City,(after we are finished with the ruins and the city) and drive to the coast?? Please offer suggestions and advise.......
