Subject: Last Minute Buenos Aires

I wish I had more time to write regarding Buenos Aires but I am now in Montevideo in a cyber cafe and short of time.

The best advice I can give you is to get in touch with wow@ This is a family owned travel agency that their forte is receptive tourism. They are absolutely great and even we that have lived in the past in Argentina use them often because they are really honest and efficent and they care.

They offer presonalized tours for very little that are really great. Time wise I would allocate to the Cataratas de Iguazu ideally two days, one if you cannot stay longer.

Buenos Aires is very cosmopolitan as I am sure you are aware, and three days would be the bare minimum. Wow is also good because they can get you better hotel rates than rack rates. Actually any travel agency in Argentina would do that.

I know that you always like good restaurants and for that I recommend buying in Buenos Aires a little book that is printed both in Spanish and English it is called Los recomendados, and its restaurant advice is priceless. You will love it. Buena Suerte, Graziella in Montevideo.
