Subject: Re: Portugal recommendations (Evora)
Hello Richard,

We spent a wonderful day last February in Evora. Its a beautiful city, great sites, fascinating squares, narrow cobblestone streets to wander about.

We had dinner at Adego do Alentejaho(don't have an address in my notes so you'll have to ask at your hotel or the T.I.) Its a small, simple restaurant, was a 16th century wine cellar. The 6 items on the menu were handwritten on paper posted on the wall. We had the local wine which our charming waiter poured right from the cask near our table. The food was great too. Walking back to our hotel with the lovely soft lighting in the streets topped off a great day. Enjoy!
