Pauline,
The AirTrain is the only way I know to transfer between terminals at JFK unless you want to hire a taxi. Be aware that the AirTrain entrance is outside the terminal. Just follow the signs. You may have to walk several hundred yards from the terminal to reach the entrance. So Caution #1 is to dress warmly enough to spend a few minutes outside in NY in February. Caution #2 is that you will have to move your luggage yourself. Carts are available for rent, but otherwise you are on your own. Once you get to the train entrance, you take an elevator up to the level where trains arrive and depart. The trains run frequently - every 5 minutes or so. You should not have to wait long. Safe travels to you! Mark in Los Angeles |
