Hi Karnas:
I spent a night in Padua over 30 years ago, so I can't
recommend hotels or restaurants. BUT the Giotto frescoes in
the Scrovegni chapel are fabulous and worth the trip alone.
I'm sure you can find wonderful hotels and restaurants in
Padua. My memory of my summer night there is of an
infestation of mosquitoes in the hotel room, and standing on
the bed throwing pillows up to the high ceiling trying to
swat them. (There are canals in the region.) Today you will
most likely have air conditioning in the summer.
Another interesting trip was on a boat in the region's canals and rivers visiting beautiful Palladio buildings--highly recommended. Howard in snowy Vermont |
