Thank you so much for that post Judy! I too live in Asia (Singapore) and have seen the incredible effort that has gone into rebuilding these communities. It is so important to get the tourists back as it is the sole source of income for many.

On that note, my husband and I are planning a dive trip to the Maldives (also considering Sri Lanka as an addition) but have never been there before and are looking for recommendations for everything from dive tour companies to hotels and restaurants. My husband and I love B & B experiences instead of your typical resort vacation.

Anyone have recommendations to pass along?
