We are new to this group but we are thrilled that one of your fellow Ziners directed us to this group.

Here is the plan: we (3 generations) are traveling to Italy: Rome (5days), Florence (3days) w/ a day trip to Pisa,& Venice (2days) departing March 3 from Texas. We've read up on a lot, gone to numerous websites, and chatsites..etc.

Whatever tips you could provide would be very helpful. We are concerned with our departure from Venice. Our flight leaves out of Venice at 7:20am. And since we have a bambino, we know preparation time will double. We plan on taking the blue bus from piazzale roma to the airport. Of couse we are trying to stay as close as possible to piazzale roma.

Tips on traveling with a toddler (towing car seat & stroller along) would be very helpful... Our baby survived London last year with no problems, but we imagine this age will be more challenging.
