Hi folks.
Nice to hear from Linda and Don in Bevagna. We spent 3 nights in Bevagna in 2002 at the Hotel Palazzo Brunamonte http://www.brunamonti.com/en/default.asp It's a beautiful spot. The lovely rooms are less than 100 euros, and have vaulted arch ceilings, and the breakfast room is gorgeous with beautiful frescoed walls and ceilings. (On the website you can see these rooms, and an aerial view of the town). It's a lovely little walled town on the plain, as opposed to perched in the hills, and we used it as a base to explore Montefalco Spello, Deruta and other lovely places in that area. It was always nice to come back to quiet, medieval Bevagna in the evening and have a leisurely meal at one of the 3 or 4 lovely restaurants there. Kevin Fredericton, NB |
