Looking at the picture of the completed 'renaissance' project, I find that the addition is more of a distraction, not at all in keeping with the classic archecture of the original buildings. It's too bad that they are trying, in this way, to combine 'old and gracefull' with 'new and brash'. The finished design may keep people away rather than draw them in.
The new concept would be much more accpetable as a 'stand- alone' structure than as part of an established property.
