|Subject: Little Things|
Travel can often be exacting. One of our number is a runner. Inevitably she will bring back flowers she picks along her route. Jan usually will look for a vase in which to display the flowers, but sometimes that is near impossible and a bathroom glass tends to wind up as a temporary vase. Much to her surprise, Jan found a travel catalog which featured a plastic vase that folds flat, but can be shaped into a vase with the addition of hot water. We ordered three (small, medium and large) and tested them last week. Wonderful. Simply shape the vase with warm water, pour in cold and add the flowers. It is very civilized.
What little things do you do to avoid the rush of travel and bring a sense of place.
