Subject: Internet access on flights and ships |
Hi Ziners,
This may already be known to some Ziners, but I've just learned that Lufthansa, SAS, JAL, Singapore Air and ANA provide passengers with the option of internet access while on long-haul flights. Looks like BA will soon provide this service. The charge seems to have settled at about $30 U.S. Not a high cost, especially for travellers who need to stay in touch while in the air. Have any Ziners taken advantage of this service? How dependable is it? If offered on your flight, would you log-on? I'd also be interested to hear from Ziners who have logged-on while on board a ship. I believe it's expensive but what is "expensive"? Lucy, Toronto |
