They both offer package deals where you can buy a bulk of minutes for a reduced rate but it's still not cheap. With Princess, if you're a frequent cruiser with them, one of the perks is free internet access.

We don't use the ship's internet cafe unless we really have to. We find a cybercafe in the port we're visiting.
