In answer to logging on from a cruise ship. The cruiselines make this into a real profit center for themselves. Oceania charges $.95 a minute and Princess charges about $.65 a minute. They both offer package deals where you can buy a bulk of minutes for a reduced rate but it's still not cheap. With Princess, if you're a frequent cruiser with them, one of the perks is free internet access. We don't use the ship's internet cafe unless we really have to. We find a cybercafe in the port we're visiting. Candice NYC |
