Hello Ziners,

I don't have a specific hotel recommendation for San Francisco, but we found an unusual lunch spot with great food at reasonable prices. The cafe is located in the courtyard of the San Francisco Art Institute at 800 Chestnut Street, between Taylor and Jones (very near the crooked section of Lombard Street). They serve one of the best salads with homemade foccaccia bread I have ever tasted and the location offers great views of the city. There is also a small art gallery on the premises that contains an original Diego Rivera mural "The Making of a Fresco Showing the Building of a City 1931" at no charge.
