My husband and I spent an incredible day at a cooking school outside of Florence just a couple of weeks ago. The couple that taught the class were a delight, and the setting was magical: a real palazzo from the 1500s. What a kitchen! I should also mention how delicious the food was: ravioli with goat's milk ricotta was unbelievable.

This was one of the most fun days we have spent while on a trip. I had thought things would drag a bit, but the day was over before I knew it. The school is called Good Tastes of Tuscany, and Elizabeth, who handles bookings, was also delightful.
