Our visit to the Irish National Stud was a highlight of our trip. I would allow at least 4 hours, maybe more. The tour of the Stud is very interesting and you must see the Japanese Gardens when you are there. If there are a lot of people in the gardens, it's not as nice an experience, but it is still lovely.

Don't miss the walk out to the mares and foals, and on the way back spend some time in St. Fiacra's Gardens. Be sure to go into the stone huts--there is a lovely surprise waiting for you.
