Subject: Re: Credit card vs. check
Didi,

My personal choice is to pay by credit card because if a deal falls through for one reason or another (company goes belly up, not enough starters, etc) costs are covered by the card company's insurance.

Classic case in point was when a new airline began in Aus and was offering super cheap deals - my parents paid for flights via credit card, my brother paid cash and when the firm went into bankruptcy mum and dad were reimbursed full cost of their tickets pretty soon after the bankruptcy was announced while my brother waited a couple of years for the company to be officially wound up and then only received cents in the dollar.

But check with your credit card company to see if the same applies where you are.
