Thanks for your advice with hotels in Vancouver and Victoria. We are currently revising our definition of "moderate" during the high season as well as checking Priceline and Hotwire for lower prices.

Last year we backpacked in Banff National and Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Parks and are still awed by the area. This year we are looking forward to exploring the coastal trail on Vancouver Island and expect to be similarly impressed! Who knows, maybe Nova Scotia or Cape Breton in the near future!?
