I just recently had a devil of a time finding a comfortable and reasonable hotel in Copenhagen, but finally found something on http://www.expedia.com . It was a very nice 4-star hotel just off the Rådhuspladsen, but it required a prepayment for the entire four day stay.

I thought Expedia offered a good solution to the dilemma of worrying about a cancellation-- they offered "insurance" for about $15, giving me the right to cancel the reservation without any other penalty, even at the last minute.
