While it may not be absolutely necessary to have a passport
when crossing the Canada-U.S. border, we find it the best
identification to use. Border guards and Immigration
officials immediately recognize a passport.
An added bonus, is that in some states you don't have to pay sales tax on items if you can show a valid passport to the sales clerk! Besides, why not have a current passport at all times so you can take advantage of last-minute plans to travel the world? Lucy, Toronto |
