I grew up very close to Forest Hills, in Jackson Heights, and never heard of Eddie's Sweet Shop. Don't understand how I missed it!

My childhood favorite was Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor - I think that there may have been one in Forest Hiills too. There were a few of them and I don't know if they still exist or not,do you? They were famous for their dish "The kitchen sink" which of course, was tons of ice cream and every topping imaginable, meant to be shared by about 10 people.
