Subject: Re: Transporting Animals |
Lucy,
Current laws with many airlines is that they allow one animal per cabin per flight, as long as it fits in a regulated carrier under the airline seat. The airlines usually charge between $50 - $100. per pet. Some people sneak their pets on, though I personally wouldn't risk this. This rule makes Tony and I limit ourselves to only owning two cats. We figure if we have to travel with them, one of us can fly in first and one of us in coach. We're often tempted to get a third kitty but always stop and remind ourselves that our travels would be limited if we did. We've yet to travel with them, but good to know that we can. Candice NYC |
