I could only chuckle when I read your post. I'm going to a friend's wedding in Livonia, Michigan on July 9th, and staying in the Sheraton near 8 Mile Road and Interstate 275.

If you are into a great food scene, you might consider visiting Zingerman's deli, on the south side of Ann Arbor. For "foodies", Zingerman's is a destination spot. You could easily spend several hours there just gawking, tasting, and shopping. It is great fun! http://www.zingermans.com/Index.pasp
