My husband and I stayed at the Erie Breezes B&B http://www.weblifecanada.com/eriebreezes/index.shtml last summer. It was on Route 3. It was delightful and had the added virtue of being inexpensive.

I can't for the life of me remember the town, but it was about two hours from Detroit.
