Is it possible to take a train from Sorrento to Rome?

The Trenitalia page does not recognize Sorrento as a valid departure point, but my map of the city shows a train station there. Or do I have to get myself to Salerno first? My guidebook says I can get to Naples from Sorrento by train, so I ought to be able to get to Rome from there, but I can't find the right train.

Maybe I will be marooned in Sorrento for the summer. :)
