Oh..ouch, 4:30-5:00 am! With Delta's very generous frequent flyer flights, we will be arriving in Albuquerque around 11:30 pm on a Friday night!

I can't wait to experience the festival! When I lived in St. Louis, my parents would drive "up" for the Balloon Fest in Forest Park in late September. It was a much smaller affair but still incredibly beautiful (my favorite balloon was the Porter Paint can). Sounds like the festival in Albuquerque will more than exceed my fairly large expectations!!

Does anyone have favorite restaurants, shops, stops (roadside attraction?) in Albuquerque or Santa Fe? We will be spending a day in Santa Fe.
