Subject: Re: Whale watching
Hi Lucy,

Here in Newfoundland on the easternmost coast of Canada, whale watching from kayaks, tour boats, or from the shore is a frequent and familiar adventure. The best times are from June through August, although the season for the various tour groups usually run from May to September. I've included several sites of groups that offer whale watching and one that includes a study of whales adventure. Contact either of these groups for schedules. The pictures at some of these web sites are magnificent. You will, of course, also see other marine life such as porpoises and seals, many varieties of birds, and icebergs. We haven't seen any icebergs off St. John's yet, but are assured they're on the way. http://www.wildlands.com http://www.wildnfld.ca http://www.coastalsafari.com http://www.obriensboattours.com
