Subject: Re: 70th B'day Celebration in Florence
Hi all:

Harry Jaroslaw is planning a 70th birthday visit for his wife to Florence,Italy in early April. He would like some suggestions.

We just completed our 11th visit. The one restaurant that we strongly recommend is the Giglio Rosso, which is on via Giglio off of via Panzani. We are perhaps a bit narrow as we eat every meal there (we know the owner, Angelo from our many visits). They have greatly increased in popularity since the Rick Steves tours go there.

April tend to be a bit rainy, but don't let that stop you. It is less crowded than the summer months and vastly cooler.

Enjoy, Ira H. Bernstein Dallas
