Subject: London and Paris hotel finds!
Hello Ziners-

We were able to get over to France to see the Tour de France pass through the little village where we have a house - it was great fun! It was a quick trip, and we stayed in a couple of hotels that I want to let you all know about. Both are very conveniently located for airport and train transportation, very inexpensive, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. In Paris - the Hotel Andrea Rivoli, walking distance from the RER to the airports, close to Pompidou Center, Hotel de Ville, and Marais, overlooking a quiet little street beside Rue de Rivoli, where a double a/c room with private bath is 78 euro - a steal! http://tinyurl.com/bbl98

And even more amazing, in the costly city of London, is the Park International Hotel in Kensington. Can you believe 55 pounds for a king-sized bed, private bath, a/c room, including a buffet breakfast??? Friendly helpful staff - even a concierge desk, internet access too. Superb location with easy access to the tube, direct line to Heathrow, minutes on the tube to the main sights, and walking distance to Kensington sights - shopping, Harrods, the V & A, etc. http://www.parkinternational.com/ Both places are great bargains, in my book. Not what you'd want if you're looking for a special experience, but super for frequent travellers who just want a comfortable and well-located place to stay.
