My wife and I went to Japan in May and I have now posted a trip report with some pictures on my personal homepage.

We started out in Tokyo where we stayed for about a week. We used a Japan Rail Pass to get to Nagoya (the World Expo) and after that we went to Kyoto where we stayed 5 nights and we used this as a home base to see Kyoto itself, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kobe, Himeji etc. I hope that the trip report can help others that are going to Japan.
