Subject: Re: Seattle-Victoria-Vancouver...help!
Hi JoAnne,

If you want to travel from Seattle to Victoria by boat, you only have one choice--the Clipper. This is a hydrofoil. In summer I think there are three sailings a day but you will have to check this on their website. From Victoria there is a ferry every hour on the hour leaving from Schwartz Bay, which is about 20 miles north of Victoria. The ferries start running at 6 AM and end at 10 PM. There is a bus service from downtown Victoria to downtown Vancouver. I am not sure whether there is any train service from Vancouver to Seattle, but I am sure that there are Greyhound buses. The drive from Vancouver to Seattle by car takes about three and a half hours.

If you are staying in downtown Vancouver, then Stanley Park is very close. The aquarium there is recommended, and there are good walks as well.

If you have any further questions you are most welcome to email me. I live in Victoria, so am not that familiar with the attractions in Vancouver.
