|Subject: Re: Airport Food|
After some awful delays and reroutings last winter, we found ourselves, quite unexpectedly, at Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport. There was a cafeteria style restaurant in our wing of the airport that was really rather good. The food seemed freshly prepared. I remember hot cheese sandwiches and spicy tomato soup.
Now, keep in mind that we were suffering from those delays and reroutings. But I do think this airport had a lot to offer. We couldn't get back through security to the original wing we had passed through that had massage chairs, and lots of interesting looking shops and concessions. I was miffed because the massage looked good after our awful night (we were supposed to fly from Philadlephia to Rome, but somehow ended up in Amsterdam).
Anyway, the spicy tomato soup was helpful.
