Subject: Re: Emailing from the public library
Frances,

In Ireland in May, we used the services of public libraries. In the Republic, the service was free. It was charming to spend some time in the library in Ballybunion which is in a de-sanctified tiny 19th century church.

In Northern Ireland, we paid 1 pound for 1/2 hour.

Contrast this with using the computers on the cruise ship I was on in June - 75 cents/minute! I was told that many passengers leave the ship and head straight to libraries or internet cafes to check their e-mail.
