|Subject: Traveling with Elderly parents|
We have been traveling the last several years with my in- laws who are elderly. We have been going on organized tours. Recently my father-in- law has had some problems walking very far. He needs to sit for a few minutes every 100 or so steps, yes he's counted them. He still would like to travel and my husband and I are willing to help them. Does anyone have any suggestions on trips that he could take? We bought him a cane that makes into a chair when he needs it. Sometimes it would be nice to have a wheel chair just for his convenience and comfort. We like the convenience of organized tours so we don't have to worry about where to go but its getting hard to find one that we feel he could do. Any one out there had any experience in this? Thanks for any help you can give.
