|Subject: Re: Airline food|
This thread made me smile, because my father, who is a picky eater, has been taking his own delicious meals on airplanes for decades. Even while they were still serving food on domestic US flights, I can remember him pulling out pork chops sauteed in olive oil and garlic by mother, on a flight to California. He also had fresh fruit, cheese, and nice Italian bread. For dessert, a chocolate cupcake.
I must have learned something from him, because even when I know we are getting a meal, I try to bring my own food for long haul flights. I especially make up for having to leave Italy by buying something delicious the night before to take on my flight back to the US.
