|Subject: Timeshares and Jackson Hole Wyoming|
Hi there Ziners,
This is my 1st posting. We have 2 Canadian Timeshare weeks and have used several. I thought maybe someone else could use my information, so here it is. We have stayed at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort which is set on the inside edge of the Banff National Park, Alberta and checked out Holiday Park Resort which is just ouside of Kelowna. B. C. We have also checked out the Grand Okanogan Resort and Conference Centre in downtown Kelowna. It is beautiful. On Vancouver Island we stayed at the Pacific Shores Nature Resort, at Nanoose Bay and loved touring the whole Island. We have also stayed at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario and recommend it as well as the Cottages at Port Stanton which is quite new and lovely. We had a winter week there, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing with most of the equipment provided. We spent a week at Calabogie Peaks Resort an hour from Ottawa, our capital city, in the fall when the leaves were changing. The whole area was breathtaking.
On September 21,2005 we are driving to the Buffalo Airport with our son who uses a manual wheelchair exclusively, and my elderly parents. We will use an airport wheelchair for my dad there and at JFK in New York where we will have a few hours to kill. The flight gets into Salt Lake late so we are staying in a motel overnight, renting a van & driving to Jackson Hole, Wyoming on the 22nd. My niece's wedding is on the Saturday so most of our time there is spoken for. We leave Jackson Hole on Tuesday, Sept. 27 for a day's drive back to Salt Lake. We do not fly home until late Wednesday evening so we thought we might take a motel room for my dad to rest and us to refresh. Any suggestions or tips re: the airports, sights not to miss, especially on our way back from Jackson Hole when we have 2 days before we have to leave or how to spend our long day in Salt Lake would be appreciated.
Yours in travelling, Bob and Pat in the sunny Hamlet of Haydon
