We used Open Table to make reservations at the Union Square Cafe in New York. We had to change our reservation and did not have access to a computer, so we called the restaurant. No problem. Very easy to use and no fee to do so. No far, I have not noticed that we have been tracked! As the article Sandy sent points out, not all restaurants are on Open Table.
