Subject: Bank Cards in Italy? |
Hi Ziners,
We will be visiting Italy for the first time next Spring. When we travel in Europe we usually take a little euro cash, and then withdraw cash from our bank account with a bank card as needed. I have read recently about Italy in About.com, when using a bank card, that it should have "either the Cirrus or Bankmate symbol on it to ensure the card can be used on Italian ATMs". Our bank is part of the Plus group, but not Cirrus, so my question is, does anyone have any further information about this in Italy? Thanks, Annabelle in pleasantly cooler Barrie Mod's note from Linda: Our Royal Bank Client Card has the PLUS symbol. We've never had a problem with it in Italy. |
