Subject: Re: Pantanal and Iguazú |
Hi Ziners,
My wife and I are planning to visit Brazil sometime between April and September of next year. We want to focus our trip on Iguazu Falls and the Pantanal. With regard to Pantanal, the guidebooks seem to differ as to the best time to visit, the dry season or the wet season, and they also seem to differ on when those seasons occur. It also appears that perhaps the dry season is best for birding; the wet season for seeing animals. With regard to Iguazu Falls, we read that sometimes the Falls are almost, or even completely, dry. We would appreciate any comments or suggestions about the best time to visit and take the maximum advantage of both the Falls and the Pantanal. Dick in Boston area |
