Hi Ziners, Caroline,
I hope you enjoy your trip. Bath is one of my favourite towns in the UK I love the architecture, and the history. For me, the highlight is the roman baths themselves, but every time I have visited, I have found something new.
Unless you are completely "Austined" out, you could do other JA associated places on a day trip. Her home in Chawton , near Alton (http://www.jane-austens-house-museum.org.uk/) and her last home, and final resting place, both in Winchester. (http://www.visitwinchester.co.uk/)
You could easily visit both in a day if you have a car (I would guess they are no more than 20 miles apart). By public transport, Winchester is easy to get to from London.
