My wife and I are looking to go to Europe on a whim without an itinerary or being attached to anything. In other words maybe a short fabled backpacking trip. Since this kind of travelling requires a person to be able to carry everything they need, you need a good small pack. I want something that I don't have to check in. There is a lot of choices out there but I am looking for handy luggage that has been tried and tested out several times. Maybe something that has the best average functionality over many different trips, situations etc. If I don't plan, I want to be prepared. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.
