B&B's are pretty scarce in downtown Toronto. I would suggest the following hotels:

The Royal York Hotel is a beautiful old hotel directly across the street from Union Station where you will get your train. It is expensive as are most of the downtown hotels.

I would recommend that you check out the Strathcona Hotel which is next to the Royal York, or the Hotel Victoria which is about a block away. Both of these are small older hotels which have been renovated. The rooms are small, but the prices are reasonable for Toronto. All of these are within walking distance for sightseeing in the downtown area.
