Just returned from Miami Beach where we finished our week by experiencing Hurricane Rita while it was a Category 1.

I would have gotten them online in almost real time if my USB port hadn't pulled itself out of my laptop!

These photos are from Tuesday. They are from (1) the balcony of our hotel at 41st and Collins, and (2) on the beach (in the 40's and 50's streets) after the storm mostly passed. The water was plenty rough, still, as you can see.
